Publisher Description
BitRun uses your Fitbit activity data to create a personalized runner' arcade game. Each day, the game you play is unique and personal to you, based on your previous day's activity. You can also play without an activity tracker. The more active you are, the more collectables you will find and the less obstacles you will have to dodge. Being active in real life means you have more chance of getting a high score and, more importantly, a place on the BitRun leaderboard. Activity = collectables The more active you are each day, the more items there are to collect and the bigger your potential score. Sitting = obstacles The more sedate you are each day, the more obstacles you will need to avoid. Note that sleep is good and we don't count this as being sedate. Steps = bonus points Walking, running and moving in general is great. The more steps you take the more points you start the game with. More active = more points = winning So get fit go for a run, get walking, hiking, cycling or just jump around. Why connect your Fitbit to the game? Our focus at AppAttic is to engage people with their wellbeing through fun and games. We do this using activity data from wearables and gamification. Currently we connect with Fitbit flex, aria, one, charge, surge, blaze, alta, zip and any new Fitbit devices. We want you to walk more, be more active, sit less and most importantly have fun doing it. The idea behind our games is to engage you with your data by adding competition and giving incentives for being more active. You have a better chance of getting a higher score in the game if you just walk a bit more. We want you competing with friends - this is where it gets more interesting. What next?
